Springtime is here

The crane is dancing on Finnish swamp
Some weeks ago the vernal equinox took place.

But what does it really mean when we say that the vernal equinox is at hand.

It means that the sun is directly on the equator and the length of day and night is equal. For me personally the vernal equinox is relevant because it is the turning point of the dark and the bright period of the year in the northern hemisphere. It means that the spring is here.

Figuratively speaking  the vernal equinox could mean that the bad times are over and the good times are beginning. One could think for example that just like the bright period of the year is beginning also the bright period of the life is beginning.

But how could you visually express that the spring is arriving?

I think you could express it by going to a Finnish swamp and by taking a photo of a crane. The cranes are dancing there now.
